Use of Permit360
Permit360 provides building permit fee estimates and scope guidance for residential projects in the City of Los Angeles, sourced from public records. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
Not professional advice
Permit360 is a tool, not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional. Our estimates are based on validated public LADBS fee schedules and the Los Angeles Municipal Code, but final permit fees are determined by LADBS at the time of submission. Project-specific factors (hillside grading, special inspections, soft-story retrofit triggers, zoning overlays, plan check corrections, and other conditions) can change the final fees.
Information on Permit360 is not legal, tax, accounting, engineering, architectural, or contracting advice. Consult licensed professionals for project-specific guidance, especially on complex projects involving structural changes, zoning variances, hillside conditions, or historic properties.
Accuracy
We make every reasonable effort to keep fee data and procedural information accurate and up to date. LADBS adjusts fees periodically by ordinance and by annual CPI updates. We may not always reflect the very latest changes instantly. Verify final fees with LADBS before relying on them for budgeting purposes.
No warranty
Permit360 is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the fee estimates will exactly match LADBS's final fees in every case.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Permit360 and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its information, including but not limited to budgeting decisions, construction decisions, or permit application outcomes.
Intellectual property
Content on Permit360 is the property of Permit360 except for content sourced from the Los Angeles Municipal Code, LADBS publications, and California state code, which are public records. You may not copy, scrape, or reproduce Permit360 content for commercial use without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
